Silent Sparkle Poem by Lodigiana Poetess

Silent Sparkle

Rating: 5.0

The gentle hum is soothing as they skip the silver pools,
form crystal snowflakes swirling as they pass.
The dancing of the fireflies like fluttering floating jewels
leave undisturbed the surfaces of glass

So fleetingly they dart and shimmer, natures true delight.
Their numbers growing now to silent throng.
A dazzling corps of beauty flying in such prismed light
reminding nature this is where they belong.

At end of day when light has dimmed and shadows wait to gleam,
this stream of radiant magic will disperse
and fly away on scintillating, incandescent beams
to light with joy our humdrum universe.

Simply put.... a beautiful poem that makes one feel good to be alive after reading it. A bit of poetry light and magic that rubs off and touches a reader's heart and soul. A poem deserving of a reread and while I'm in the touch of poetry class neighbourhood another five worthy, brightly polished stars. What else can I say, except thank you Lodigiana. And thank you for uplifting my spirits with your warm, inviting and standalone poetry. Take care. Shaun.x.
