Silent Memories Poem by Sandra Feldman

Silent Memories

Rating: 5.0

In the silence
Of all memories,
I think of you
And cry,
Separation is forever
Why be born
Just then, to die?

We meander,
Back and forth
Like a lost
Autumnal leaf
Waiting for the frost,
Which is our final
Resting reef
Having dreamt so long
Of precious love
Or maybe never,
Having, loved at all.

Separation is the saddest thing in life. It shatters your dream, it crushes your heart, and leaves you in the debris of fallen relationship. Well expressed, dear Ma’am Sandra...10++++
