Silent Light Poem by Sandra Feldman

Silent Light

Rating: 5.0

Don't hide from me
Pale Moon,
Of my distress
Of lonely verse
And silent nights
That with its light
Caresses, lonely souls
Consoles them
From now frigid
Fright.

You and I,
Became, One
So long ago,
When on sleepless nights
Neither one could let go
Of the haunting memories,
That never left
As time went on,
And that only you,
As guardian of the night
Were witness to,
As we exchanged all
Our lunatic fright,
In a secret and invisible
Embrace, of celestial delight.
In our constant ever, friendship
Of mysterious and consoling,
Silent light.
