Silent Killer Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Silent Killer

a silent killer
10,000 feet in the sky
to it, all are blind

hellfire missiles rain down
upon a children's playground

direct telecast
from 10,000 miles away
corpses on display

armchair warriors
murder 10,000 babies
just push a button

without ground intelligence
obliterate innocent's

predator instinct
so safe and convenient
genocide by stealth

no one saw it come
out of nowhere, explosion
10,000 lives gone

great heroes we have become
watching the television

terror seems like fun
as we drop 10,000 bombs
on the old, sick, young
