Silencio Poem by Georgia Leana Benedictos

Silencio

Silence never awed me at all
For it is like hell that always thralls.
Listen as your heart beats,
What does it feel to have it throb?

Sleep away, the silence will fade away.
Look for something like your array
And tell the gods that you like it comely
For there will come a time for your sully.

Befoul those muteness, chatter among the crowd.
Utter a few words then expect heads that shall bow
For you are indeed not a master of silence
But a man with great sense of gregariousness.

Listen as I say these words, 'Man, you are not sore.'
Why? I know because I have seen you before
For you are myself, these and overall.
Silence shall never be our encumbrance to these all.
