Silence is gold glowing in shine,
No sound is made under the sun;
Quietly keeps something about
Anything that's been said and done.

Forbearance from noisy statement
Makes everything free from error;
Reading events in mute manner
Gives advantage or fine favor.

In the absence of a loud voice,
Thoughts are kept in excellence;
In the stillness of the dark night,
Meditation is making sense.

Unless there is complete silence,
One finds it hard to sleep in bed;
The sensation perceived by ears
Is like a buzz above his head.

Let's be careful every hour,
Wiser thinking we should uphold;
Let's remember the expression:
"Speech is silver, silence is gold".
