Silence Poem by Nicholas Fuhrmann

Silence

Deafness prevents you to hear all the cries,
Of all the people, falling into lies,
The deafness of your ears clears that away,
Soon revenge will strike and make them pay,

Your eyes, the sense of sight,
You follow closely as with all your might,
As the day drops into the night,
And then once again you have no light,

Watching closely as you see what you can't hear,
Your eyes come out when you can't hear fear,
The night is so dark as the moon shines whole,
Feeling the coldness of your own soul,

Chills down your spine as you feel cold,
Your body aches as you feel old,
The cold of the night gets colder by time,
And bells around get loud and chime,

As you know your an old deaf man,
All you can do is live life on as you can,
Eye sight is important as hearing things too,
All you can do is let hearing come back to you.
