Silence Poem by Jeffrey Stultz

Silence

Rating: 5.0

In a thousand smiling ways,
you sweetly sing a shining song;
It's music lights the darkest days,
and gives me strength to carry on.

You need not even speak aloud,
my heart will hear it like a shout;
lovingly eloquent and profound,
your silence has a soothing sound.

Good work Jeff. It's nice to read a love poem that's not all sugar and sap. You say it all in eight short lines. Beautiful.
