She is a sonata
Only more melodious
Music to the world
Every morning
I watch the sun rise in her eyes
And
While as she walks
I catch the wind in her hair
And find a lifetime in the grip of her hands
But as night rises
Upon that lonely blue sky
I watch a million flickering candles
Burning bright
Holding vigil
As she softly sleeps by my side
