She Has Changed Poem by Akhtar Jawad

She Has Changed

Rating: 5.0

Lover of the sleepless starry night,
One who preferred milky moonlight,
On the artificial mercury tube light,
Disliked the awaking hot sunlight,
Walked nimble footed on grassy plains,
Danced in a mini skirt in the heavy rains.

A teen aged girl fond of music and dance,
Admirer of adventures and the romance,
Never reluctant if she got a chance,
Always responding to the passion-enhance,
Now awakes almost for the whole night,
Looks at her baby in the artificial light.

BRILLIANT! The great Poet captured the greatest role of all, Motherhood. The last two lines are the heartbeats of this poem. So beautifully written with great rhyme.

The transition of a young teenaged girl, fond of dance and music, to romance and adventure, and finally into the sublime motherhood where her baby is the whole world for her. A wonderful poem from the brilliant pen of a reputed poet.........10

What a transformation in poetic form - teenage fun to hardships of motherhood. Brilliant!

What motherhood does to the teenage-hood! A girl is transformed into a woman after marriage and motherhood. Brilliant.

How a romantic teen aged girl is changed in a woman who is a mother has been nicely painted in this poem. A great poem.
