she,
she tries to hide her pain by
putting on such a thin mask
but this mask can be washed away
by words of endearment

she,
she tries to act like she's ok by
smiling all the time
but what happens when this smile fades away

she wants to feel
she wants to be real again
but her feelings gone
the ability to be real has left
and what ever happens when the lights turned low
the music's loud
and all you want to do is sleep

he
he tries to show he cares by
telling her he loves her
but she pushes him to go
and he just walks away

he
he tried to kill himself by
putting up the gun
he couldn't pull the trigger
and he starts to run

he wants to feel
he wants to be real again
but his feelings gone
the ability to be real has left
and what ever happens when the lights turned low
the music's loud
and all you want to do is sleep

they,
they try to work things out
but its they're not the same
so many changes over such short time.

they,
they both decide to end it
with the lights down low
the music loud
and now they are asleep.
