Share This Space Poem by Jon M. Nelson

We all have the same color blood within,
So why should it matter the tone of skin?
If you believe in a God, Deity, or nothing at all,
It shouldn't be a reason that you have to fall.

Who you love should be your own affair,
It shouldn't be an issue for anyone to care.
If you look or act a little differently,
There should still be beauty for others to see.

We're all unique in our own way,
But we're all human at the end of the day.
Too many people seem to lose sight,
That's why there's always a conflict or fight.

Everyone's differences keep us divided,
But it should make us more united.
We're all part of the human race,
So why can't we peacefully share this space?
