Shadows Poem by Dawn Michelle

Shadows

Rating: 5.0

Faith lies deep
In the broken hearts of
The forever wandering
Shadows
They silently weep
In their complete distress
Though the cries permeate
Deeper
Eternally faithful
They tend to doubt why
They even bother with their
Life
Never ungrateful
The result of knowing things
Could always be so much
Worse
To never lie
Is the underlying motive of
The hopeful and beloved
Shadow
To never die
Is the promise of a Father
Who calls His shadows
Beautiful
