Seven Days Poem by Prof Niamat Ali Murtazai

Seven Days

A week has seven days
Good is one who goodness obeys.

Saturday is a day very good
May each child enjoy childhood.

Sunday is a day very fine
May each youth be a warm sunshine.

Monday is a day of leisure
May manhood be peace and pleasure.

May Tuesday bring happiness
May oldage get excellence.

Wednesday is the day I like
May safely run life's bike.

Thursday is the day of saints
Each person his picture paints.

Friday is the chief of days
Obey truly what Time says.

Life is shorter than seven days
What one gains, for it he pays.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
