Set Free
Set Free
Set free set free indeed
Christ became my Rescue
When turbulence reigned within
And my life was all askew
He came and took sin's penalty
Took it for you and me
Nothing cheers the heart as such
For Christ has set me free!
Not a religion but a relationship
Formed with our very God
His presence with us everyday
So says the Word of the Lord
The Holy Spirit living within
Bearing witness now with me
When I repented of my sin
Praise God Christ set me free!
The shackles of sin have left some scars
I know from whence I came
But I am now no longer held fast
All praise be to Christ's name
The Resurrection Life is come
Once blind I now can see
And raised with Him my Living Head
Praise God I've been set free!

This is a very nice poem. he is there always to help you chart your course. 'The shackles of sin have left some scars I know from whence I came But I am now no longer held fast All praise be to Christ's name'... is amazing. Loved it. Thanks for sharing.
