Serving God's Goodness Poem by Tom Zart

Serving God's Goodness

Take a long honest look at your life
Do you feel needed, loved and complete?
Or is there a sense that something is missing
As you defy God's will in ignorance and defeat.

Before you can fill your emptiness of soul
You must let Jesus penetrate your heart.
He will expose the root of your sorrow
As from His wisdom you refuse to part.

Christians are called to serve God's goodness
Though life has its givers and those who take.
When you trust the Lord for all your answers
You avoid sin, selfishness, hate and mistake.
