Serial Stalker Poem by Demar Henry

Serial Stalker

Rating: 5.0

I know that you are scared
So I thrive on your fear
You pretend I don't exist
Try to make me disappear

I lurk in the dark
Got you thinking it's just your mind
Alone in the house
I might just get you this time

You try to free yourself from my restraint
You realize it's in vain
Cause your screaming is not audible
Escape is impossible!
But your effort is applaudable

If there is such a word
Will you live to discover?
I hear you breathing
And I reach to pull back the cover

You try to plea with me but all I know is hate
Meditative murderer
For weeks my victims I contemplate

I derive pleasure from seeing you dead
This is what happens when you eat before going to bed

The Alarm clock rings.
It is 5: 30 am
