Self Righteous Snot Poem by Lindsay erika

Self Righteous Snot

Why don't you take a walk into the dark?
Go stand by yourself, alone.
Go linger in the shadows
of everything you've known.

Breathe and take this in.
This is called guilt.
Let your mind race,
and recognize what you've built.

Let intellect wander,
pretend to justify this.
Find your inner reason
in that heartless abyss.

You've created a monster
out of something so good.
When did this all happen?
You're so misunderstood.

Soak it up,
there in the black you'll stay.
I'll pretend to forget you
and keep it that way.
