Seeking Peace Poem by Sandra Feldman

Seeking Peace

Rating: 5.0

It's over,
The gods have forsaken me,
I no longer seek answers,
Only Peace.
My fatigue is great,
As if I were a fireplace
Where all of life's logs have been burnt,
One by one,
Seeking the fire of knowledge,
And still,
I know nothing,
From whence I come?
To where I shall go?
However, the Search is over
Now, I must rest my weary self,
My tired steps
And give up,
Trying to find love,
In Love itself,
While Time crushes, everything else
And Nothing's left....

Seeking fire of knowledge we can enlighten life awakening inner conscience. Time crushes everything else here. Life seeks betterment. This is over the time of confusion, anxiety and sorrow. We realize self love and love for God's creation. We realize peace and we need peace. Only peace stabilizes mind and gives happiness to us and to this world. Very interesting and excellently penned poem is shared...10
