See Too

Once of the dark torment and pain
Now Jesus’ bride in white
I’m safe and sound and will remain
Forever in The Light

Must I explain how life has been?
Describe my selfish death
How Jesus called to join His queen
And gave me Heaven’s Breath

Suffice to say I’m born again
Through Jesus’ blood I’m free
The devil’s snares were set in vain
For through God’s Word I see

I see the beauty of God’s smile
When love is on the wing
The strength to walk that extra mile
When wisdom’s song we sing

I see how Heaven’s blessings flow
The grace to understand
We reap in life but what we sow
The might of Jesus’ hand

I see that gold and time not ours
That love is not our own
The foolish trust in lofty towers
And pride fall like a stone

I see true beauty’s deep inside
That vanity’s absurd
I see but God can turn the tide
The power of His Word

I see these things because of Christ
True love was on display
That He for me was sacrificed
So I may live today
