See The Light Oh Love

The one I love
Do you see me?

Can you see the light?
I shine in the pitch black
Darkness?


Oh love see the light
Oh love
May I fight for your hand?

At a lose of words
They have hidden from my tongue

The desire
I feel, is it?
Can it be?
Are you the one?

I love you
And though
I only heard I once
Poetry my gift
Brought you to say

It’s making me fall in love with you
Will it
I don’t want it to be
My poetry you fall in love with
I want it to be me

The world I paint with words but if
You love me for my art then you
Don’t love me at all
The pain I feel
Does love come like this?
Or is it truly one great bliss?

I want to be close
I want to yours
But do you?

The confusion I feel
I need to know you’re safe

Will you answer my call?
Do I ask?
Will we be together?
Or does it end here?

I can’t let go
I cant
I need to hold on

This war I will fight
I can’t loose I can’t die
I won’t let you cry

You will be safe
Will I give chase

As it is I won’t lie
I might cry
But death is not an option

I may bleed
But there will be no more greed

I love you
You are first
For your love I thirst

I love you
So let it be known
I will take you home
