Second Love Poem by David McLansky

Second Love

Rating: 3.0

How much we loved,
So ill-prepared;
How rich our love,
How poor we fared;

I sought my soul
Still young, confused;
Parent-controlled,
You still were fused;

Our rebel flesh
And all its beauty
Could not release
My captured Judy.
