Seasons Change Poem by Tear Of An Angel S.R.B.W.

Seasons Change

The day may break forth with a blinding light

As I let go of a Sodom night

Watching the candles dance in silence

The fireplace crackles

I sit alone with my thoughts

In my silence

My forget me nots

I'll add another blanket

To counteract the chill

Staring out the windowsill

Perhaps the day will rise with ease

Melting the snow

Just believe

Another blanket

A sip of coffee

Warm me

The fireplace gleams and glows

Rain begins to fall from snow

Tearing down the mistletoe

Winter breaks in but a day

So quickly seasons change

The trees spring forth in small buds

The roses burst open with joy

I still feel winter inside

As summer is creeping outside

Another log on the fire

As I sit on the hard wooded floor

Reading the same words repeated galore

Tossing the words to be burned

Wondering If I will ever be okay

As the leaves fall and colors start to fade

Page by page

Line by line

Another tear

Another rhyme

Winters chill turns bitter cold

As I sit here just writing along

S.R.B.W.
