Searching Poem by Mark Trajano

Searching

I

Crystals fell from the sky and embraced her.
Coldly slipping from her head to familiar dirt.
Faint smell’f divine comedy pushed further
to where life’s a forgotten dream ’nd death’s an expert.

The scenery brought a sense of delight-
old branches and twigs cracked, melt with fearful howling,
echoed under coat’s hood but didn’t light fright;
rocks carved memories for the lost and sickening.

She, the one named Alexa, heard the clock
ticking with the ominous, wild roars of the storm,
smiled to herself and walked down Shady Block
from her home to the park’f old stones knows no conform.

Empty streets guide her to a crossroad
mirroring a choice of lightness or heaviness.
Looking over her shoulder she was slowed
for a decision is without witness.

Blades of grass tell stories of silent past;
medium blended her spirit with the dead’s emotions.
Law of Chaos reminds her none shall last,
wary spirits engulfed her with severe illusions.

This young, curious daughter kept on moving
playfully, adoring the world she's now in.
Unknown to her, beasts and demons're lurking
waiting for Alexa's tune turn to sin.

Music, her lone company through the night,
accents the tempest's rage- screeching with such disgrace.
attracting entities living in blight
preying on the unaware ready to deface.

-This is intended to be a story and I am planning the next part-
