Oh, the souls
That look
To find each other
In the melancholic shores
Of Seas, that never rest,
Oh, the lonely figures
That have lost each other
For they knew not
How to embrace,
Life's only happiness.

Love's the greatest fortune
That a life can hope to have
For without, all emotion
Will be dead, before it starts.
