Scottish Life Poem by Claire Hastie

Scottish Life

Rating: 3.5

The beautiful land of life and soul
Green hills roll as far as shores
Here my heart will always lie
To the true love of my Scottish life.

My days are here to enjoy the past
Of many heroes that gave their best
Blood, guts and wars galore
Tormented souls we are no more.

To William Wallace and Rabbie Burns
Scotland's heroes without a doubt
Their passion for Scotland will always burn
An echo of life we will never forget.

The history of Braveheart has been refreshed very nicely in this beautiful poem reflecting the heroic role of William Wallace as a freedom fighter for the betterment of future generations to live independently...........10
