Sayonara To All That!

Perhaps it was the great Chinese poet Tu Fu who bade
sayonara to all the fuss and bother in the ancient court
and retired to sip his rice wine with cronies
at the ramshackle inn by the river
that flowed past his village
below blue mountains
covered with spruce
so long ago!
