Say-No Refugee Song-2

Rating: 5.0

In the grey dawn's drowsiness I chant
A melody-less meaningful and adult
Rhyme:
No work no pay
No sowing no hay
No song no gay;

No menopause post fifties no tears
No man no society the island bears
No weapons no wars- so no fears;

Shout aloud again and again all
No refugee no Refugee Day to call
Have peace and comfort from heaven to fall.

very sensitive subject. peace, a time without war and terror. freedom and peace. a time without weapons, without fanatic thoughts......this is our expectation in life. we shall wish all those who are suffering peace and comfort..........and we shall do all that we can to help them. tony

No menopause post fifties no tears No man no society the island bears No weapons no wars- so no fears; Beautiful lines... No man no island no refugee but when born in this world one has to learn to live in peace. Very nice thought Nurul. Keep writing and keep sharing. This world needs poets like you who bring forth the sensitive subjects.10
