Save The Child Poem by Jon M. Nelson

Save The Child

It's impossible for you to choose,
Either way you're going to lose.
With more than one life at stake,
It's a very difficult choice to make.

If we were both about to die,
The decision would make you cry.
If you only had time to save one,
Choose the child, whose life just begun.

I've lived a full life, it's time to go.
Save the child to carry on the show.
Have no regrets for not saving me,
The child is the future you will see.
