Save Me Poem by Taher Shemaly

Save Me

Among the crowds, you made me lost
made me lost
Kept me crying, with that shining smile
shining smile
So running I had to be, searching for the sun
I had to be running
And so many miles I had to pass, mile by mile
mile by mile

Save me, I am falling
crushed is the heart
and a tear is dropping down
Save me, I am calling
see the moon how pale became
denied to give way to the dawn
Save me
Save me

Stupid acts I commited, I know
I swear I know
But in your heart there is a refuge
yes I know
Recall the memories, or your heart denied
denied to do so
Again and again, I shall beg for refuge
a refuge under your glow

Save me, I am falling
crushed is the heart
and a tear is dropping down
Save me, I am calling
see the moon how pale became
denied to give way to the dawn
Save me
Save me

many people come and go
in our lives and their flow
but how many live in the heart
and how few do they break apart
if no mercy is there for these tears
just imagine this heart and what it bears
and I shall call...
Save me
Save me
