Sans Hate Poem by Santosh Bakaya

Sans Hate

Garden dear, why do you look so morose?
Shedding tears for that wilted rose?
Come tell me, what do you mourn?
That sad looking flower with petals torn?
Or are you shattered by the silence of the birds?
Or a regressive society, going backwards?

Come, please do tell me why you mourn.
Missing the ones who have flown?

Winter has come and gone
Look there is a new dawn.
The eastern sky is blushing pink
Why thirst for impossible things?

There is a spring in nature's gait
Bright mornings lie patiently in wait.
See there is no reason to mourn
Be strong, soon the atmosphere will ring
With rainbow -hued songs
Humming which, playmate will hug playmate.
Sans hate.
