Salvation Poem by Nestor David Armas

Salvation

Rating: 5.0

Shine the headlights
In my eyes,
Expose me
For who I am,
But I'm no deer,
I'm not crossing;
I'm here to stay,
Confrontation
Don't run away,
Red handed
Is how
You wanted me,
Is this red enough?
Knife in hand,
Slice away,
I'm sure
The stains
Will wash away,
But you won't,
Can't leave
Without
Putting
You to rest,
Sleep now,
And never wake,
The pills
Will bring
You eternal
Dreams;
Salvation...
