Safe I'll Be Between His Tender Ribs (Sonnet #29) Poem by Tina Rizk

Safe I'll Be Between His Tender Ribs (Sonnet #29)

Gone are the days when worries pave my way
My dreams I chase, with fleeting time I race
Behind the horizon I'll go and stay
With my love, my grace, we'll rest in our place

O safe I'll be between his tender ribs
Hearing the hums of his heart's lullabies
My soulmate he is, for him I exist
The universe i see through his deep eyes

O love, you mirror my soul at your core
You read me as an open book, at a glance
O soulmate, your heart and soul I adore
Let's sway among the stars our endless dance

With you my heart first knew the taste of love
Only with you I want to fly white doves
