Running Away Poem by jess jayne

I'm running away,
From my life,
I'm turning a corner,
But, not the right one.

For once this was my decision,
I chose my path not you,
My life has changed,
From turning a corner.

I'm still in the dark, but
It is so comfortable.

I've run away,
From who i was yesterday,
And become,
Who i was last year.

You can't see me behind this mask,
So i'm glad i've gone back,
To the days of pretending,
And living two lives.
