Ruby-Throated Smokestacks Poem by Dizzy Darling

Ruby-Throated Smokestacks

Loins like lions under chaste roughneck squalor
violate the bounds of innocent girls untouched by desire.
But not far from strangerto flirty apeals
staggarto dance honey soaked starts.
Silence reverberated outside sleeping caged troup and train carts
seductress in the breath of smog tier as smoke gets heavy in-between eyelids, nostrils and earlobes

Was all this a dream where I could go on touching uncertain sights
where downbound freight brings its coal.

Into burntout nights
the ruby throated dawn plays gleefully, altogether
childly, games of hide and seek
the birds do all her singing for shes dumb to speak
