Rose, The Companion Poem by Baharak Barzin

Rose, The Companion

Rating: 5.0

in a little land across the green lake
there was a rose
blushy by every sunrise
shaking by every wind

hey lass! im talking on you
you been my best companion in thousands hours
once when i tried to stand
and
twice when i fell on knees
you hold my hands
when people watched me in need
but laughed indeed

now
i have you close, so very close
in my head, across the red road
where i found us reunited there

Well conceived and nicely penned from the heart. A beautiful creation. Thanks for sharing Baharak.
