Rocking Chair Poem by Emmanuel Chibuike Ikechukwu

Rocking Chair

Oh grand pa
didn't you missed your rocking chair
That relaxed your weak back
That give you time to think about the past
That makes you strong all day
How I wish you are here
To carry me on your legs
Like those days. Oh!
It's all faded away
Like a wind blow
I just want to remind you that your
Rocking chair is still vacant
