Road Trip Poem by Ima Ryma

Road Trip

I decided to hit the road,
Having been cooped up way too long.
No car upon me was bestowed,
But a short walk should not go wrong.
The first road that I happened on
Had lots of traffic zooming by.
Then came a gap phenomenon.
I looked both directions, then I
Decided to cross that road, so
Off I went in my fastest zip,
Determined 'cross the road to go.
Alas, was shortened my road trip.

My road trip was awesome until
This chicken became a roadkill.
