R-ise and shine so bright,
A-pril twenty-third is dawning;
Q-uest for the sunlight,
U-ntil the flame is burning.
E-levate the brightness, as the twilight disappears;
L-et the morn begin to break, let the beacon dry the tears.
C-oal clouds, mist, and haze
A-re all nowhere in view;
R-adiant rays from above
L-ight up your life anew.
O-ver the mountain high, climb, and fear not the height;
N-ever give up nor fall, rise and shine so bright.
