Rise Poem by Lisa Arnold

Rise

Rating: 5.0

raindrops
descend
from
mauve-gray
sky

angry winds
rustle
oak tree
leaves

foot heels
echo
on damp
asphalt

broken soul
hungers
for
absolution

from sins
long since
forgotten

beyond
horizon
clouds
dissipate

sun
begins
to rise
