Your voice so soothing and calm,
At night I feel your palm.
It caresses my cheek in my sleep,
And I know you are mine to keep.

Your hugs so loving and tight,
Holding me through the night.
You make me feel so safe and protected,
Even though our friendship was never expected.

Your lips on my skin,
And feeling a huge grin.
It is there whenever I shiver,
Or tremble or quiver.

You belong in my heart,
You belonged there right from the start.
Nothing or no one could ever change that I love you,
And my heart and mind know you love me too
