Name of the Poem: "For Peace of Mind" - poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

"The desire of approving the pleasantness is regarded as good and morning is time period of specially from sunrise to noon.Good morning is the greetings of best wishes for having pleasantness at morning time and whole day.The desire of approving the pleasantness is regarded as good and noon means twelve o'clock in the day or midday. The greetings issued with assurance of pleasantness of midday is very nice and this is also motivational theme.The time from noon or lunchtime to evening is regarded as the afternoon. This time has greater importance and you have released greetings of pleasantness for this time period too.The period of time at the end of the day that usually starts from about 6 p.m. to bedtime is known as evening. Good evening means the desire of pleasantness of greetings for this time period.In the first line of the poem the poetess has released greetings of pleasantness of being fortunate and peaceful for whole day and night. She has expressed her greatest willingness to peace for all.Second line is second stanza of this poem and this is very important line as this advocates for peace of mind. For is often used to indicate the place someone or something is going to or toward.The state of peace is freedom from disturbance. Feeling peace is important and this is felt in mind. The faculty of consciousness and thought is mind. Through this mind only we can feel peace.In third stanza in first line the poetess declares the name of God and gives emphasis considering him all of all and all in all as the highest authority of entire creation.God gives us lives with bless. We recognize this truth. We bless you means we thank God for the blessings of lives. In this line bless is used for thanksgiving purpose.God has given lives and all resources to us and we thank him forever with continuity. So, we give praise to him and glorify him at each moment.No one can fathom the mercy and grace he gives us infinitely and unlimited. The poetess o behalf of the entire mankind of the world has accepted this truth. The abundance mercy we receive is very true.God has faithfulness towards us and we have faithfulness towards him. There is unbroken bond of faith between us. God's lovers can feel this faith in pure minds.Sometimes few of us do not show concrete faithfulness towards God but God shows continuous faithfulness towards us. His faithfulness empowers us at each moment when we connect our minds to him.Coming towards forth stanza we notice that poetess has made a declaration to Lord Jesus. We ask thee something with broader vision and expectation.Teaching given by Jesus is much more beneficial for human society to find the right way of love and peace. Jesus is Lord of values and humanity and he has guided us in righteousness and sacrifice.Peace when comes into mind by mercy of God and by acceptance of ours, this spreads vibration to entire body, soul and spirit. So, this is truly said by the poetess that peace should dwell in mind, body and soul and spirit.The fifth stanza of this poem appeals God to heal and help us with his greatest power of healing and mercy. Healing is very much necessary.Due to influence of negative forces, obstacles, calamities, conflict or vices we get stress, grief and sorrow. During war and violence we get high stress and extreme sorrow. Lord should protect us from danger.We have trust on God that he will remove all harm causing agents and definitely he will shower his mercy of healing power to heal us from sufferings and he will grant values and peace to behold.We want and God will definitely heal us and we have no doubt on him. Our faithfulness allows us to convey him about our troubles and we have concrete trust that he will of course heal us.God is greatest guide and he is full of knowledge. He is ocean of all values. Only he can guide us in righteous way and no one can do this perfectly apart from him.Through life he guides us and he will guide us in future too. We have trust and God does his duty without doing partiality. God watches on us.

The poetess has rightly observed the social condition of present. There are many dangers for us from our enemies. Few or more enemies are there. Due to jealousy few becomes our enemies and act against us causing harm.Enemies threaten, attack, defame and insult causing harm to us in various ways. But we trust that God helps us to tolerate them and love them. God protects us from them. God's mercy and our love make enemies as our own brothers.We are lovable and peaceful and we expect that God brings enemies near us in brotherhood and love and they get peace at us. Our peaceful vibration motivates them.We have family and society. Inside diversity our family is one. We all are same God's children. This world is our one family. We have trust that by his mercy peace will be regained in this family and we should live peacefully.Every day we work either at home or at office. We have profession of business. At each workplace we need peace and yes, we get peace when we have strong trust on God.At each moment we come in contact with various things. Everything we lay in our hands should bloom with peaceful petals with real fragrance of peace given by God.In seventh stanza the poetess talks about angels of peace. God's angels of peace are all souls. We all souls who are God's lovers and who are peaceful warriors of righteousness should move ahead.Everyday we go out for work or earning and we return too. Through birth and death we all souls do our cosmic journey. At each moment we should hold peace through glorious name of God. Eighth stanza has one line. At last the poetess declares name of JESUS to glorify mankind's name and Lord's name. Amen is an exclamation. Meaning of this is, ‘so be it.' This is uttered at the end of a prayer.In this devotional and spiritual and prayer poem the poetess expects peace for all creatures and mankind. She offers her greatest prayer of peace before God and glorifies God's name and glorifies peaceful world.

I have deeply gone into this poem and done the line by line assessment with analytic perspectives and presented the comprehensive review through many comments. As per my opinion this poem is an outstanding poem and this has deeper philosophical values for the world peace. I wish all the best for poetess for her perseverance and I thank her for creating this lovely gem of all values. I have picked up this poem for review because I have found that this poem as rarest of rare poems and this has special structure and special beneficial theme. In this one poem we have found inner beauty, social uniformity, religious and devotional beliefs, spirituality, dedication towards God, universality, integrity, love and peace and tender perspectives of prayer.As per my view where all structures are available and this covers all fields such a poem is rarest of rares and I feel that this poem is truly rarest of rare poems and I consider this is very special poem as this deeply philosophical prayer poem of devotional origin."
