Revenge Poem by Nicole Henson

Revenge

I stand with this noose around my throat

as a haunting voice counts down towards this end

a silence fills my ears as I see all that once was home

I see all those faces, waiting till those numbers end

'How can you just stand there! ?

you know me! you know who I am!

Will you not even weep? ! I was you friend!

I was apart of your family!

will you just stand there and not say a word! ?

who are these vile creatures you have turned into! ?

do you not even care of my fate! ? '

silence is still ringing in my ears as I finish my torrent

these people were part of my life, then one word spread

witch.....witch....witch

everyone is against me! for what! ? a rumor?

my final breath shall be taken soon

as the numbers coming from the man's mouth dwindles

these people will find out who I truly am

I seek vengeance for betrayal

when I die I will haunt them until they are sent to their own graves

they will die

3.....2.....1

I fall into the hole below my feet, and the noose tightens around my neck

now its my turn to kill, but these people are not innocent.

I open these eyes in the afterlife

I walk towards my home

I haunt those who killed me
