Resuscitate My Heart Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Resuscitate My Heart

Rating: 5.0

You are cruel for my freedom to curtail
and imposed the ban to my use of phone.
You placed me on lockdown, almost a jail
to feel bitter and jitters, and to moan.

Will you revoke the ban and restore my right
or disappear in silence from my eyes?
For two months, you receded from my sight
and Time will soon sever our spiritual ties.

The revival you made in my life brief
has pulled me from worser thoughts to better ones.
To loot the hearts of the weak, I'm not a thief.
To think to harm any, my poor mind shuns.

To scud this heart in poetic sphere, don't hesitate.
This heart, if hurt deeply, fail not to resuscitate

This lock-down is which is brought up due to danger of Corona Virus has provoked thought. Many are worried and they are feeling that their freedom is now inside their homes. At present we should awaken our spiritual minds to pray before God. Only spiritual ties can save us. The Earth is crying. Corona virus should leave this Earth soon. A thought provoking poem is amazingly and brilliantly penned.10
