Rest Your Tongue Poem by charlotte marie peachey

Rest Your Tongue

change the subject
coz my life has all gone public
you couldnt keep your mouth shut
barking like a little mut

all the times ive cried
just wiped my eyes
and buried the feelings deep inside
my lifes been full of lies

my lifes become a big parade
i cant be bothered with this charade
everyone knows my business
lazyness covered by sickness

she sits in the corner and cries
theres no soul left in her eyes
