Resolving The Issues Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Resolving The Issues

Hip-hip-hooray, hip-hip-hooray,
What a fine day it is today,
The horrors of the past six months,
Have gone away today.

The matter of my flat, the problems there,
May become a distant pain,
For the goodwill of Mr & Mrs Pirbhai
May have saved the day again.

I’m not ‘Out of the woods’
There’s more to be resolved,
The way ahead seems bright,
As the worries are behind me, tonight.

I have been offered a tenancy,
On terms to suit us both,
But I still await the Council,
To get their figures right.

Thankfully the Court Action will end,
The Case Vacated will be,
And my Life will now go forward,
With better Health and Harmony.
