Resilience Poem by Cris Ben

Resilience

When folks throw you sticks and stones,
Dodge yet get hit some!
Resilience! You learn to build stronger bones!
When love breaks and bleeds your heart out,
Weep a little and clench your pain!
Resilience! You grow your heart brave and stout!
When Life bombards you fights and foes,
Be on your feet and dance with your sword!
Resilience! You reward yourself with brighter morrows!
