Rendezvous
I met a poem the other day
She asked me a question on the way
She made me rethink my point of view
To broaden life's purpose and zeal renew
My earlier problem seemed to simply dissolve away
Answer was in the verse but I cannot precisely say
In ways the poet may not have meant
It seemed the poem was a person God sent
The rendezvous is a reflection in itself
I meet a poem as much as I meet myself
