Remember I do
from moment to moment
and in between moments too.
Presence or absence
matter little,
for those are just
things of mind.


Remembrance is the essence
and it is the throbbing
heart that sustains me.
If forgetfulness submerges
my remembrance
then like a clean slate
I will look blank.


I will hold on to
the tugs of my memories
like dear life.
Forget me not my, memories.
I want to sustain,
I remember therefore I am.
