Remembering You Poem by Daisy Pereira

Remembering You

There is a time for everything,
a time to sow, a time to reap,
a time to celebrate,
a time to remember and recount
things you have done and haven't done.

Yes, there is even a time
to forget things
you have to.

A time to lose, a time to win
and play God's Dice.

You said once,
'when the time comes '
that time never came..
I have only nothingness
playing in my arms.

Dogs bark at the glowing moon
stars watch skies closing in.

Love shimmers in your eyes,
angels also weep the tears
only they can shed.
